5 love, sex, and rock and roll stars for Rock Me Two Times. Kate's a great heroine who stuck to her guns and didn't put up with anyone's crap. Syon's a fun hero who has a good heart and a wicked smile. The two together are entertaining and show that it is possible for a rock star to fall in love with someone other than a model. Kate is dedicated to her craft and she's pretty fabulous at what she does. She's worked hard to get to where she is and designing leather outfits and making them is what makes her happiest. She knows it is best to stay away from sexy, cocky rock stars but Syon doesn't leave her alone. Deep down Kate can't deny she's attracted to him. Syon's into having the best of everything and Kate's the best in the business when it comes to custom designed leather clothing. It helps that she's gorgeous and kicks his hormones into overdrive, as well. Syon wants Kate professionally and personally and he'll do whatever he needs to in order to have her in both capacities. What I really found refreshing about this story was that there wasn't any overly dramatic crap that just makes a person roll their eyes. The story is pretty down-to-earth and realistic. The two argue, work through their problems, have incredible sex, and eventually figure out what each other needs. I was instantly pulled in from the first few pages because of Kate's attitude, she's awesome!

Kate is a custom leather maker that lives for her work. She gets called in and flown to Toxsin's concert so that she can work on the lead guitarist's leather pants. Syon is used to getting whatever he wants, and that includes girls, so when Kate get's up close and personal with his man region, he thinks he has her. He never expected she would turn him down and walk away without a backward glance. Not one to give up, Syon track Kate down and hires her to come on the road with his band to work on their outfits whenever they need new ones. Kate doesn't do rockstars or famous people, but Syon is relentless in his pursuit of her and she's losing her willpower to say no.First half:The beginning of this book wasn't going well for me at all. I was getting really frustrated with the characters and the unnecessary drama that kept popping up. Kate was giving me whiplash from her constant mind changing. First she didn't want Syon, then she couldn't keep her hands off of him and then she was pushing him away and telling him that she was only there to work. It was this back and forth thing with her and I couldn't keep up. Did she want him or not?!?Then you had Ramsey, Syon's band mate, who kept coming out of nowhere. I wasn't sure if the book was going to turn into some threesome thing or not. It was like the author wanted to tease us with the possibility but the little hints were just really annoying and I need Ramsey to get the fuck out or just join in and call it a day. Then the drama with Kate and her friend. Syon got all jealous and got into a fight with Kate's friend that came to visit her. But then he never showed back up in the story! Why put a character in just to add drama??? I just thought that was stupid and I didn't like how it caused more drama between Kate and Syon, after there was already enough problems between them. Last half:I'm glad I stuck with this story because the ended did get a lot better once there wasn't the same back and forth between Syon and Kate. When they both admitted their feelings for each other the story picked up and I got a lot more interested in it. The banter between Syon and Kate got a lot better and I started to like how sassy Kate could be. I liked how she didn't get all fan-girl on the band and that she was able to make friends with the rest of the guys. The band was really tight and had been together for awhile so I'm glad there was no drama from a girl coming into the group. Overall, I had my issues with the book but it ended up being a good read and by the end I couldn't put it down. There were a lot of hints thrown in about the other guys so I'm dying to get their story. I hope Taz's is next!

I honestly had a hard time getting into this book. Kate makes custom leather costumes. Syon is a rock star who needs custom leather costumes. When Syon first sees Kate, he’s immediately attracted to her and convinces her to come on tour with them and make their costumes. This book had an insane case of insta-lust and, as with most books where this happens, I had a hard time connecting to the characters and their attraction to each other. Kate started to annoy me pretty quickly with her judgemental views and goody-goody attitude. I was frustrated with her constant insults towards these guys and the two of them together annoyed the fuck out of me. Kate was in constant battle with herself, one minute pushing Syon away and the next falling into his arms and then back to pushing him away and insulting him again. And then the author saved it.The moment these two finally succumbed to their attraction, the sex was insanely hot, and there was a lot of it. Connections finally started to form, they started being honest with each other and Syon turned into a great H- he was jealous, protective and possessive, just the way I like my rock stars. I even gained some respect for Kate and how she dealt with the issues that had arisen. I finally started to feel the butterflies and I enjoyed the angsty moments between characters. I really enjoyed the character of Ramsay and I hope he will get his own book. He’s constant teasing of Kate and his friendship with Syon was funny and there are some scorching scenes involving the three of them. Issues surrounding trust, fame and nefarious plots to keep these two apart kept me turning the pages, all in all this turned into a fast paced fun read and I would recommend it to hard core rock star fans.(ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review)

Kate has a growing custom leather shop which she and her best friend have started. When Kate is called in to help out with some wardrobe issues with the band Toxsin, she catches the lead guitarist, Syon, eye.Syon decides he's going to have Kate and will do what it takes to make that happen. Through some fancy finagling, Syon highers Kate to travel with the band on tour to keep them in costumes...while he can get her into his bed.As their feelings begin to grow, the rockers life style takes a toll on their relationship. But worse, someone has it out for Kate and as the tour progresses incidents happen that could not only ruin a budding relationship but destroy her career.Rock Me Two Times has a great base story that is kind of buried by lots of erotic and sexual encounters. For those who love a straight out erotic read, Rock Me Two Times would fit the bill perfectly. 3.5 Stars.I received this ARC copy of Rock Me Two Times from SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca in exchange for a honest review. Leigh's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews3.5 starsIf I’m being honest, I’m not sure if I was a rabid fan of this book. It was interesting, the characters had more to them than first met the eye, I liked the ballsy-ness of the heroine, the rock-god status of the hero, and I would enjoy getting to see what happens with other band members. But I just felt a disconnect throughout the story that kept me from truly loving it.Kate had me humming Elton John’s Tiny Dancer…LA Lady, seamstress for the band… Being called on to remedy a leather wardrobe malfunction and supply Toxsin lead singer Syon Braden with pants that fit the apparently large package that appeared when he sang (no, I’m not kidding here), Kate is soon hired as the band’s leather seamstress. But despite her hard and fast rule that she will not date musicians, she finds herself quickly falling for Syon. For his part, Syon was sexy, smart and had a rock idol mystique that made him irresistible. His passion for the music, coupled with his military background, head for business and his devotion to his fellow band members, made him a truly likeable hero. He was dominant, intense, and just yummy. There was even a decent background story surrounding someone attempting to sabotage the relationship. There was really little doubt who it was, but it still created a tension that worked well. What didn’t work for me, however, was the instant intense love that formed between these two. The sex was sizzling and I can see where the lust came from. But the true affection? It seemed too quick to be real or lasting, and they each had to constantly reassure one another that they felt it too. Then there was Ramsey. What was going on here? Syon’s closest friend and bandmate, he was the devil of the group. Beautiful and sexy, drawing you in with his good looks and a smile, while trying to corrupt you at the same time. But I never could figure out the relationship. Was Syon trying to pull him in to the sex with Kate? Was Ramsey trying to get in on the action himself? Was Kate even interested in him joining? What the hell was really going on!? The issue was flirted with on numerous occasions, and I couldn’t understand what the point of it was if he never actually joined in.I could have gotten past all of that if it wasn’t for my main issue: The conversations between Kate and Syon. Their banter, their sex talk, all of it was just painfully awkward to me. It was almost if they were having two different conversations and not actually talking to one another because none of their responses to each other seemed to make sense. It distracted me enough to constantly pull me out of the book bubble to which I had escaped, and that’s not a good thing.Like I said, I did like this book for the characters and the story, and I’m interested to find out what the rest of the Toxsin boys are up to. I just hope that the love grows more organically in these stories and the conversations are not so awkward. Review copy provided for an honest review

Rock Me Two Times was an overall enjoyable read. I thought the characters were interesting enough, even if I did hate the hero's name and kept replacing it with Simon instead. (Don't ask, it's just something I do) I liked that Kate wasn't a push over when it came to following her rules. But all it took, was one sexy rock star to make her change her mind and all her preconceived notions along the way as well. I don't blame her one bit though. Syon, on the other hand, was a delicious package of dominant, sexy goodness with a head for business that separated him from any other rock star type I've read. Perhaps it was his military background that gave him that extra edge? I don't know, but it worked for me. I also found it too funny that the author compared him to the Goblin King in Labyrinth. Now all I can think of is Syon in Lycra blue pants leaving nothing to the imagination. LOLAnyhoo, I digress. :) So what was up with Ramsey? I was all for the three of them getting it on together, and the title even alludes to Kate being rocked twice, so I was so confused by this "connection" the guys had. Kate was uncomfortable with it at first, but just when she was warming up to the idea Syon flips a switch and it is all becomes just him and Kate. I didn't understand it, and I think it would have been far better had that been left out given the lack of follow through. It was pretty easy to figure out who the "bad guy" was in the story making it predictable, but it also didn't deter from the story in any way. I do have one question though. Why did Kate have to sit out in the crowd anyhow if Syon was worried about her safety all the time? Plenty of people watch from the side of the stage, right? It seemed rather silly is all I'm saying if he was that concerned. So overall, there were a few inconsistencies I noticed throughout the book, but like I said it was overall still an enjoyable read despite a few hangups. Now will I read more about the guys from Toxsin? We'll see...*I received a review copy from the publisher/author via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.*To read this and more of my reviews, check out my blog Blending Perspectives Book Reviews

I swear this one took me on a roller coaster of a ride. There were parts that I loved and parts that almost had me chucking my Kindle, and phone, against the wall. Almost. But in the end despite some issues I had I couldn’t put the damn thing down. I was at work doing the whole furtive glances around my monitor thing while being sneaky and reading on my phone (Thank GOD for smart phones and reading apps). That’s how invested I was in this book and the characters that inhabit it. There is quite a bit of sex, it is erotic romance after all, but there are some also some really interesting characters, and relationships between the characters, that balance it out.Kate’s profession as a custom leatherwear creator was what caught my attention and for the most part I liked Kate. I loved her passion for her craft and how for her, making custom leather garments, working with the media and seeing her pieces become reality was something ingrained in her soul. But she did tend to contradict herself by her actions and at times was thoughtless with the things that would slip out of her mouth, but when it was brought to her attention that her words were taken badly she did make amends. Syon is pretty typical to most rockers in the genre. Larger than life, gorgeous, oozing sex and sensuality and filled with more than enough confidence to power a small nation. But what I really liked about him is that he was honest. He didn’t play games. He may get frustrated and react, badly. But when it came to those that mattered he told it like was and either you believed him or you didn’t.Their relationship was very insta-attraction, which I got considering Syon is a rock god and I know I’d be tongue tied if I actually met my dream rockstar in real life, and it was also very insta-lust. To give Kate credit, she did try to resist, but Syon definitely outsmarted her and I have to say I love how he did it. It was pure genius, but it also showed how much respect he had for her and her craft.. The thing though with ‘insta’ relationships and erotic romance is that sex is a huge part of them becoming closer, and I’m good with that and the sexual tension between them was intense, but when it came to Kate and Syon I just wish there had been more sharing of their lives going on. We get bits and pieces and even then it felt skimmed over. They connect sexually and understand each other on the level of an artist, but we never get to truly know about their pasts and this was one of my issues and had this book really only focused on Kate and Syon I would have rated lower, but there was another aspect of the book that I thoroughly enjoyed and that was the supporting cast of characters.I’ve said it many times, but I adore well written secondary characters. While the MC’s are the main focus, I’ve always felt that it’s the supporting cast that helps to give a more well rounded look, more depth, to the MC’s and the world in general and that’s what happened here. Ramsey, Taz and Drake, the other members of Toxsin, all captured my interest and I honestly feet as if I got to know them better than Kate and Syon. And when anyone of them were in a scene with both Syon and Kate I felt as if we got to really see who they were underneath the surface. And then there is Percy, Kate’s friend and business partner, and all I can say is that I want my own Percy...oh and Steve, because there can be no Percy without Steve. It is because of him that I got hooked from the beginning. He’s simply fabulous! There is a bit of a mystery to solve towards the end of the book and while I figured out who the culprit was, I liked how it all finally got solved and how everyone came together over it. The writing was engaging, as I said I was hooked and couldn’t put the thing down, and I like how she brought the trials and tribulations of being a rock star to life. The Bottom Line: I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next one! (I hope Percy makes an appearance :D )~ ARC provided by SourceBooks Casablanca via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review ~

Hot rocker…check. Along with very hot band mates…check. A good girl turned “bad”…check. And last but not least some ultra-steamy scenes between the hot rocker and good girl gone bad…double check. This book was a one day read for me because I couldn’t wait to see if Syon would be able to get Kate to crack and give in to her desires leaving business aside. And what a business she had; she was a costume designer who dealt with making leather pants for the hot rock band Toxsin. Syon was the lead singer/guitarist who had wardrobe problems with his leather pants not fitting him throughout their concerts. And what was that problem you may ask; well let’s just say that he did not have enough growing room which he required throughout his concerts. So in comes Kate to the rescue who happens to be one of the best leather designers around. So, Syon hires Kate and her job is to make sure that the entire band is properly outfitted in leather pants during Toxsin’s tour. Oh the price she had to pay to make sure that Syon was at his post-concert form to make sure that her leather pants would allow for growth. I have to say that I would have liked to have made the template she needed in order to make the correct size for him. Rock Me Two Times was a good look into the inner workings of a rock band that actually all liked each other and had each other’s backs. Although Syon and Kate were finding their way to each other Toxin’s manager, Cid, thought that this relationship would be the ruination of the hot band and went out of his way to let Kate know that she was only really hired help. So does Cid get his way and put that wedge between Syon and Kate and can Kate put up with all of the groupie interaction that follows Toxsin wherever they go? I am also waiting for a book on each of the other band members Ms. Ryder. You created a very interesting group of hot guys that just need their story told too.I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Very easy to read, good fun rockstar romance. These kind of books are my happy place, my drug of choice amongst romance reads so i'm, in most cases, guaranted a good time. I wasn't disappointed at all with this one. While watching the epic love between Syon and Kate unfurl was great reading, if not a little over done, it was Ramsey who piqued my interest so getting a glimose of book 2 and seeing its all about him has just left me a wee bit happier to find the next in this fun series.

Find this review and more at Ramblings From This ChickRock Me Two Times is the first book in Dawn Ryder's new Rock Band series. I love rockstar romance stories, so I couldn't wait to read this book. There were some really enjoyable moments here and Syon and Kate were super hot together. Unfortunately though I had a lot of issues with the story itself, and Rock Me Two Times ended up not living up to what I had hoped for.Talked into taking a job repairing a pair of leather pants for the lead guitarist of the band Toxsin, Kate somehow finds herself not only fixing them but agreeing to go on tour with the band in order to provide for all their costume needs. She knows that this opportunity is exactly what her small custom leather business needs, but she also has a set of rules that she lives by with one of them being no rockstars. The attraction between her and Syon is instant, but neither one of them wants to feel the way they do. But when it becomes clear that neither one of them can stop thinking about each other, they have to decide if it is worth taking the risk to figure out what is going on between them.Syon and Kate were beyond hot together, and that is the one part of this book that I never struggled with. The chemistry and steam between them was clear and the sparks were flying right from the start. I did however have problems with the whiplash and constant hot and cold reactions going on here, which were mostly Kate's fault. I got so tired of seeing her tell Syon that she wanted him if he could be more than just casual with her and them get hot and heavy, just for her to push him away saying she didn't want him and she couldn't be with a rockstar. Kate could not make up her mind and after the first several times it got super annoying as well as confusing. At times I was so unsure of whether she actually wanted Syon or not. Then there was the weird connection with Ramsey and the fact that it seemed like Syon was almost pushing for him to be a part of their relationship. While I have no problems with menage stories, I just wanted to know what was going on. I mean either go there or don't, but it was just so wishy-washy on whether or not that was going to happen here that I got frustrated with that as well. There was also an issue with a client/friend of Kate's that seemed to just be included for added drama since he never reappeared in the book again. It was just really confusing trying to figure out what was going on here, and everything felt so indecisive as though the author didn't really know where she was going with the story or characters. While I did think that the second half of this book got better, the first half was enough to seal the deal here as far as my opinion went. I liked the heat and chemistry, but I just felt like the rest of the story was a bit of a mess. I also thought that a lot of the dialogue was repetitive and there were several phrases that were used a lot here. While it might not bother some, I just kept asking myself if I hadn't just read almost the exact same sentence. If you are looking for super hot sex scenes and like rockstar romance stories, this one is worth giving a shot. But if you are looking for a clear and well written story, this one might be a bit too all over the place for you as it was for me.**ARC Provided by Publisher**

This review was originally posted on One Curvy BloggerI received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.I am a huge fan of rocker romances, they are my catnip. Anytime I see one that I haven’t read I get all grabby hands, so that’s basically how I wound up with a copy of Rock Me Two Times. Unfortunately, this rocker romance was not as yummy as I wanted it to be, but not because the writing sucks.Do you ever come across a book where the main characters grated on you every last nerve? That was my experience with this book. I really couldn’t stand Kate and Syon. The slut shaming from Kate, the total lack of respect they both had for each other… Let’s just say there was a bunch of eye-rolling and angry sighs coming from my room.Rock Me Two Times came very close to being my fourth DNF of September. In fact, about halfway in I gave up on it and then later that evening (when I had my temper more under control) I picked it back up, determined to finish the book, even with my feelings for the main characters. My reason for giving Rock Me Two Times another chance? I wanted more of the world, more of the addicting writing, and SO MUCH MORE of the other characters that the Rock Band series revolves around.I don’t think my issues with Rock Me Two Times is Ryder’s fault (at least not all of it). If Kate and Syon hadn’t rubbed me the wrong way, I could have really enjoyed this book. I love tough, independent heroines. I do not enjoy overly aggressive main characters (of any gender) that are always on the offense, irrationally prejudice, and slut shame. There is a fine line between asshole and confident and Kate’s character seemed to cross said line enough to grate on my nerves over and over.I didn’t have as many issues with Syon, but together as a couple they didn’t work for me. There was so little respect for one another that it bordered on unhealthy and wound up turning me off of both of them. The sex scenes were hot enough, except if you find it icky that these two people who met at most 48 hours before they had unprotected sex. One of which who has one night stands on a regular basis (hello, rock star). AND NO CONDOMS??? REALLY? *shudder* I mean, if you really trust a stranger when he says “I’m clean” that cool for you, but I would not be one hundred percent trustworthy until I saw some legit results from a doctor. So, would I recommend Rock Me Two Times to other romance lovers? Not really. Do I want to read the rest of the series? I do. Kate and Syon really this book for me, but I am willing to give the other member of Toxsin a chance. Especially the hot drummer who likes to cosplay. *grins*Reading this book contributed to these challenges:> 2015 Erotic Romance Challenge

Rock Me Two Times is the first installment in Dawn Ryder's newest series, Rock Band. Fans of erotic romances starring bad boy rock stars are sure to enjoy this outing starring one of the band members and a custom leather designer.Kate Napier is not at all happy when her business partner, Percy Lynwood, makes arrangements for her to make a last minute wardrobe repair for über popular rock group Toxsin. She is instantly attracted to hot band member and songwriter Syon Braden, but she has a strict no rock star rule. However, when presented with the opportunity to go on tour with the group, she cannot deny the publicity would do wonders for her business. Trying to keep her distance from Syon is virtually impossible, but will their relationship last once the tour ends?Insta-lust flares between Kate and Syon right from their very first meeting which pretty much sets the tone for their passion fueled relationship. Syon is possessive, demanding and persistent while Kate wavers back and forth between sticking to her rules and giving in to her desire for him. Syon is intense and dedicated to his career but he can be overbearing when it comes to getting what he wants. His business sense is something Kate respects since she is equally serious about her own career. However, her previous relationship leaves her reluctant to become involved with another rock star but her attraction to Syon proves too powerful to resist. Not all the members of Toxsin are happy with their burgeoning romance and it soon becomes obvious someone is willing to go any lengths to sabotage Kate's business association with the group. While Rock Me Two Times has an interesting storyline, it unfortunately gets lost amongst the numerous sex scenes between Kate and Syon. The sex scenes are incendiary but the encounters eventually become repetitive. Regrettably, character development also suffers a bit as well and it is difficult to feel much of a connection to the main protagonists or the secondary characters.Rock Me Two Times by Dawn Ryder is fast paced with plenty of smoking hot sex scenes. Fans of erotic romances are sure to enjoy this first installment in the Rock Band series.

“His voice was rough velvet-smooth when it needed to be, but cutting when he sang out. His soul was on display. No one else knew it, but she did. What he was pulling on that stage was his inner demon. The one the rest of the world was too chicken to let be seen. It was an awesome sight.” – Rock Me Two TimesRock Me Two Times is the first book in Dawn Ryder’s Rock Band series. I typically stay away from billionaire/actor/rock star type books, but another reviewer posted a blurb and I picked it up. I was definitely not disappointed. Although it is shorter at 288 pages, the author managed to pack detail and character personality between the pages. The colorful descriptions of the feelings experienced throughout the book were delightful.Syon is the lead singer in the hugely popular rock band Toxsin, and he has a role to play for the public and adoring fans. Kate is a professional costumer who is working hard to make her business a success. When she gets hit last-minute to do a fix for the popular band, she agrees despite a distaste for working with rockers. When she meets Syon, the chemistry is undeniable, but he is still a rocker and she a businesswoman…not exactly a recipe for relationship success. Will they fight for a relationship or take the easy route and part ways? The book was definitely entertaining, and the interactions were super steamy. The obstacles that this couple had to overcome were definitely unique to a story based on someone living a life of fame. I think most contemporary romance readers who prefer action and emotive content will enjoy this book. I liked the other members of the band just as much as the lead singer and I am looking forward to reading about the rest of Toxsin!Check out my full review here: https://romancereviewsbyruckie.wordpr...

Kate owns a custom leather shop and all of a sudden finds herself in a partnership with one of the biggest rock bands out there - Toxsin. Before she can blink, she's been made the new costumer for the band and thrust into the lifestyle of living on the road and fighting off members of the band.Kate has rules and rule #2 is no dating rock stars. That doesn't scare Syon Branden, the lead singer for Toxsin, who is drawn to Kate the moment he meets her. He's ready to prove there is more than meets the eye for this rocker. As Kate and Syon's lust turns into more, members of the band and their entourage try everything they can to make Kate run for the hills. Syon has a new muse and he will do everything he can to prove to Kate and those around him he's serious about her and their future.Insecurities run wild with both Syon and Kate. Can she trust someone who's known for being a manwhore? Can he trust Kate and that she isn't in this for the fame and fortune that comes along?I enjoyed Rock Me Two Times. The character were fun and flirty, I loved the entire band and can't wait for their stories to roll around. The only thing that turned me off at times was the amount of sex these two had! I know he's a rock star and all... but seriously, I found myself skimming most of it because the scenes were just too long and too much at times. Behind all of that though is a great story with potential for a fabulous series. The epilogue had me grinning and I can't wait to read more in this series.

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**Kate Napier is one of the best at making leatherwear. She and Percy her partner run their business complying with the rules. The rules they set for themselves. One of Kate's is no rock stars, but when there is an emergency for one of the band members of Toxsin and she is the only one available to go, to save her business reputation she goes. Syon Braden is the lead singer of Toxsin. He's your typical bad boy, manwhore, rock god, but when he sees Kate something calls to him on a deeper level. He does what he has to do to see Kate again. Will Kate like having her decisions made by a rock star of all people?I feel into this story right away. I am a sucker for a good rock band book. Ms Ryder has a way of drawing you in and holding you there throughout the story. I loved Syon's bad boy, need to be protective, sex god character. I can't wait to get more on this band. I want to read Ramsey's story, I think it would have that humor element to him. Taz, is the one I am dying for. I love the dark, moody, lost love type.

I received a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked ReadsSyon and guys from Toxsin are the hottest rock band out there! Kate is the best at her craft, custom created leather pants. Syon needs and wants the best and Kate with her leather gift is it. Doesn't hurt that she's quite different from the pushover groupies he's been with lately. Her Ginger hair & ginger ways are a fresh change to our jaded rock star. Syon convinces Kate to join them on tour as costumer but he's hoping to get a little closer to her than just measuring his inseam! Kate is a great character, she's strong, independent and doesn't "do" rockstars. Syon pushes every button Kate has and she finds herself struggling to keep her professionalism while battling an extreme attraction to Syon's dark charisma. These two characters are explosive in the chemistry department. I could feel the sparks fly off the page when Syon would cage Kate in with his arms against the wall and whisper dirty things in her ear. Syon was written as temptation personified and my perfect rock star alpha male lead. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and hope the next installment is about Ramsey, Syon's right hand and Toxsin's guitarist. I think this series has some great places to go and I'm on board Toxsin's groupie bus!

I thought this was a good story, entertaining and super hot!I thought Kate and Syon were interesting characters and I liked them for the most part even though they drove me slightly batty and didn’t have a lot of depth. Their relationship was kind of crazy with lots of ups and downs. They had a super instant start to their relationship, extremely so, but I did enjoy their chemistry. It was hot for sure (way HOT!)... and I'm a fan of a good sex scene and there was a lot of them (which I normally don’t mind either) but I didn’t feel like they always made sense to have so sometimes it was off putting. I was curious about the overall story and how things would turn out, I liked where it was going so I hung in there and I’m glad I did. I enjoyed it but at times Kate and Syon’s back and forth issues got to be kind of monotonous. The thought the writing was good. It was entertaining and fast paced. At times I felt like some things were glossed over and kind of jumped from one thing to the next so it didn’t always flow well for me but I still found it enjoyable because of the storyline.Overall, light, fun and super sexy! It was good but I had some issues with it. It made for a nice, fast read.

This was an arc provided by netgally and the publisher for an honest review. And honestly it was freaking hot this author did an amazing job keeping you glued to every page. Oh my God the sex scenes are phenomenal I was turning red reading them. They are intense the connection between both characters will blow you away. Syon I love his name by the way so unique and different. He's a dark but alpha Rockstar but has set eyes on Kate but nope rules are in place for a reason. Kate has this personality that is just spunky and caring you can't help but love her. Ramsey oh God please let me get a book for him he's extremely hot and arrogant with his flirty personality. Taz such a noble man I love his attitude the way he protects everyone. Need a book for him to. Drake we didn't learn enough about him but he's very loyal. This story is perfect for anyone who loves badass Rockstars but oh so alpha and is determined to get what he wants. But don't think she's just a little woman with out a mouth cause trust me this red head has a temper. Reviewing for Night and Day book blog http :// Stephanie Powell

Give me a rock star and I'll be right there!Okay, I'll have to tell you my love for rock stars. Music is a big, a massive part in my life and I freaking love if a book has music in it!! This book... was hot! a little annoying, but very likeable!Kate has a custom leather shop, she's gaining success and she loves every minute of her job. She also has some rules, which she ends broking it to work with the guitarist of a rock band. Syon, who is the biggest famous guitarist, the person that Kate needs to avoid, but what she might wants. In Syon's case, Kate catch his eye, and he knows is a risk if he succumb to his desires but he can't help feel attracted to Kate. What is a constant of comebacks, some judgemental responses (cause Kate was a little hard and that's what annoyed me a little)... They're chemistry is still building and they finally give up and find on each others arms a good thing. But who says life is easy?Syon is a rocker bad boy, in his world everything have a price... and what could cost to save his relationship with Kate?To find more read Rock Me Two Times! And I promise you you will love this book!ARC via NetGalley in exchange of an honest review.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~This is a really good read. I am a fan of rockstar books, but there can be a recurring theme at times. I found this to be that bit different, and a good mix of hot and romantic. I really liked the band members, and Kate is an excellent female lead, both feisty and feminine. Syon has a wonderful way of composing music - hot, hot, hot! There were lots of lovely touches, humorous moments and poignant ones too. I am delighted that this is the start of a new series, as I am sure that each of the band members have good stories to tell.

received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. This is book one in the series Toxsin are the hottest band around, all leather bound and sexy. Kate is a talented leather artist and after a issue backstage at a Toxsin concert that leads Kate back to fix a leather problem sparks fly between her and Syon, the lead singer. This book was a really good read, with a different spin on a rock band book. I can't wait for book 2

Sexy and a quick read- but at times overly predictable and dare I say it-- almost too many sexy scenes and not enough story I do want to read Ramsey's book, so I'm on to book 2

Wow. From the love interest's name, Syon, to the lack of any good feeling toward women, I hated the part of this book that I read. I'm pretty sure that this author doesn't like women at all, doesn't know how amazing and strong they really are.The love interest is a bad boy rocker who continues to kiss the protagonist, Kate, even though she says no every time. Syon (ugh) and his bandmates talk shit about women constantly. Kate's characterization is inconsistent at best, and no one in the story treats her well. I have no idea why a woman who started her own business and has a reputation as a consummate craftsperson would agree to travel on a tour bus with a man (and his friends) who treat her with so little respect. Oh, and she apologizes for shit that's not her fault. I will not be reading any of this author's other books.

A rock star meets his match in this romance full of grit, banter and serious tension. Can a costume designer be the woman to tame this playboy singer?A story of two people who will push boundaries and test limits in this cross-country adventure. Live out your fantasy with this rock star hero.Serious heat, serious sizzle and lots of action!

This was not a well written book. It lacks any kind of descriptive location indicators (which would be helpful as it’s about a band on tour) or anything above surface character development. The sex scenes are fine, but honestly kind of repetitive and boring past the mid point. There are also a few lines that I found offensive regarding homosexual stereotypes and Asian/Korean culture.

Everything about Toxsin set me teeth on edge and there was an obsession with machismo as a standin for virility that made me check to see if this was written by a man or a woman. Also, a weirdly 90s view of LGBTQ+ issues for a book written in 2015.
